UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 24, 2018. Russian Post recently opened a new, second office in Yekaterinburg’s District Akademicheskiy. The new office can be found at 46 Mekhrentsev St, RSG-Akademicheskoye’s press service reports.

The office will process the mail of people living in Krasnolesye St, Akademik Vonsovsky St, Akademik Semikhatov St, Tsvetaeva St, Mekhrentsev St, Voloshin St, Koltsevaya St, Kolokolnaya St, Mislavsky St, Barvinka St, Fersman St, Chkalov St, Mikheyev St, and Rutminsky St.

‘Akademicheskiy’s locals rely heavily on the post office service. Most of the international shipments arriving from China get sent to customers in this part of Yekaterinburg. A second post office was necessary to reduce the workload of the one at 78 Sakharov St,’ the Russian Post explains.

The office is open from 10 AM to 8 PM six days a week. There are three tellers and two dispatching stations. The post office will also deliver pension payments and mail to people’s private addresses.
