MMK Kurort to Upgrade Abzakovo, Bannoye
15 August 2018 (09:24)
UrBC, Magnitogorsk, August 15, 2018. MMK Kurort Management Company presented its performance report for the year 2018 so far and voiced its plans to upgrade Abzakovo and Bannoye Resorts (located, respectively, in Beloretsky and Abzelilovsky in Bashkortostan), MMK Information, PR & Advertising Department reports.
The management company underwent some organizational changes this year, so that Abzakovo Resort made part of MMK Kurort. This means the company now manages both locations, Abzakovo and Bannoye. MMK Kurort is now integrating all the divisions to create a single sales and marketing system. As it happens, both resorts have always been among the most popular Russian tourist destinations for skiing fans. There’s now a single ski pass (an e-ticket to get you to the ski lifts) for all the pistes and lifts in Abzakovo and Bannoye. Additionally, a children’s entertainment center opened on the premisses of Yubileyny Sanatorium in Bannoye at the beginning of summer.
MMK Kurort now plans to set up a shuttle system to connect the two resorts, to introduce a mobile app and an 8-800 hotline for the customers, and to launch new pistes and skiing facilities in Abzakovo. As for Bannoye, a new Recreation Center (a fitness studio, a water park, a food court, and an haute cuisine restaurant) will be opened there within the next two to three years. The costs are estimated at RUR 350m.
