26 April 2018 (13:32)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 26, 2018. MegaFon’s engineers took steps to improve the mobile and Internet connection quality in Yekaterinburg’s key traffic hubs based on the locals’ travel preferences, the telecommunications provider’s press service says.

‘Krasnodar Territory, Turkey, and one’s own dacha are going to be the three top May break destinations for Russians in the coming month, Rambler researchers’ findings and the Association of Tour Operators’ data indicate. Given the locals’ expected travel choices, MegaFon improved connection quality through telecom upgrades at key Yekaterinburg locations such as the airport, the railway station, the two bus terminals, and highway junctions,’ the press service says.

The connection quality is now much more reliable at the railway station platforms as well as inside the building: 4G Transit Station is now in charge of providing good signal in the arrivals hall, the booking office areas on the first and third floors, and next to the interactive announcement board.
