Denis Novozhenov Appointed Head of EVRAZ Ural

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 24, 2018. Denis Novozhenov was recently appointed EVRAZ Vice President and Head of EVRAZ Holding Ural, the company press service reports.
‘Denis Novozhenov will be in charge of the general management of EVRAZ Holding Ural (EVRAZ Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Works and EVRAZ Kachkanar Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise). He will keep working on the development of EVRAZ Holding’s Sverdlovsk Region-based assets in accordance with the company’s strategy. His job will be to boost the integration of the two companies’ business processes and enhance the production cycle efficiency. Under Novozhenov, the holding’s Ural division is expected to transform EVRAZ business systems and to keep implementing all the investment initiatives. The division’s new Head will also be in charge of job and industrial safety improvements and launch of advanced, productivity-enhancing technologies,’ the press service says.
Denis Novozhenov came to work at EVRAZ in 1996. He was Head of the holding’s Ukraine division until last year, starting out as a cost estimator at EVRAZ Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Works and then working in managerial positions at Vysokogorsky Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise, Evrazruda, and Yuzhkuzbassugol. He was appointed Director-General of Foundry Plant in Smolensk Region in 2011. Novozhenov graduated from Ural State Technical University with a degree in Engineering/Economics. He completed his MBA studies at Synergy School of Business.
Maxim Andriassov, who ran EVRAZ Holding Ural up to now, chose to leave the company.
