15 December 2017 (14:23)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 15, 2017. Sinara Group’s Sinara Development, the general contractor for the rebuilding of Yekaterinburg Stadium in time for the World Cup 2018, completed all the construction jobs on the site, the Group’s press service reports.
Before the end of the year, the contractor will also finish working on the visual communication appliances and security systems as well as interior design.
Yekaterinburg Arena’s navigation system was developed with many factors in mind, including intensity of visitor traffic, security, and the convenience of getting around the site. The stadium will be provided with four-meter-long artworks on the outside, each indicating the sectors A, B, C, and D. Visitors coming to the stadium will follow along twenty-four navigation points with all the necessary information to ensure trouble-free orientation. Information lightboxes and indicators will also be installed above entry points and inside the building.
’The primary theme behind all the visual communication appliances is the Olympic Games of the sixties and the seventies, the time of Soviet sports men and women’s spectacular victories. All the appliances and artworks are completed in straight lines and shapes that were typical of the times. Every sector at Yekaterinburg Arena presents a different, distinctive color. Around forty experts (logistics professionals, designers, and artists) contributed to the system,’ the Group’s press service says.
