UrBC, Magnitogorsk, December 5, 2017. Several groups of industrial workers from different countries underwent training courses at MMK Group’s Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works Personnel Training Center, the company press service reports.
Two groups of Chinese metallurgists from SHANDONG IRON & Steel GROUP RIZHAO Co.,Ltd. went through their respective workshops. Their additional professional development program on MMK Automobile Body Sheet Manufacturing aims to educate the students about the plant’s hot-dip galvanizing facility and its continuous annealing aggregate.
‘When covering theoretical bits with our Chinese partners, the focus was on the types of goods we make, the technical parameters of our rolled produce, surface treatment prior to zinc-coating operations, zinc coating proper, and treatment of defects in galvanized items. The practical part took place at MMK production site and rounded off with a test and a free-format discussion where our visitors offered their positive feedback on the quality and organization of classes and said they hoped our cooperation would continue in the future,’ the press service says.
MMK Personnel Training Center also offered its workshops to Azerbaijan’s Unimetall, whose workers underwent a professional development course on MMK technology for making rolled goods with polymeric coatings.
