Large Skating Rink opens in Akademicheskiy

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 4, 2017. Yekaterinburg’s largest skating rink located on an open-air pond opens in Akademicheskiy District on December 1, 2017, RSG-Akademicheskoye’s press service reports.
The skating rink can be found on Preobrazhensky Pond next to a church. This year, there will be an adults’ area with a 500-meter rink and a children’s skating area with a 100-meter rink.
Skaters’ clubs will practice on the rink in daytime, whereas evenings are reserved for all the local public and visitors from other parts of the city. For one, world skating champion Andrei Bobrov will offer his skating lessons.
There’s a skates rental service, changing rooms, and a cafe on site.
