UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 15, 2017. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development (UBRD) keeps expanding its branch network: a new branch for small and medium enterprises opened in Rostov-on-Don on November 9, 2017. This means the bank now operates two offices in the city, their press service reports.

‘This is a branch without a cash desk that only offers its services to SMEs. Our business customers can set up a settlement account here as well as sign an acquiring services agreement, put money into their deposit account, and order a company card. Our employees can also come to a customer’s office and help them with all the paperwork needed for the bank.

According to Artem Ravich, head of UBRD branch network development center, small businesses are now recovering a bit, so the bank is trying to respond to this trend by offering more business customer-oriented branches.
‘We can see there is now more demand for SME-related services, so we’d like to keep up with the trend. Rostov-on-Don is one of the bank’s priority cities in this respect,’ Ravich says.

The branches are located at 190 Lermontovskaya St (L190 Business Center) and 87/50 Krasnoarmeyskaya St.

The UBRD is planning to set up two more SME-oriented branches before the end of the year and fourteen more branches next year. The bank currently operates thirty-four such branches, with seventeen branches opened this year alone, and 186 branches across the country altogether.
