UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 21, 2018. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development (UBRD) set up a new branch in Tyumen that is specifically targeted at small businesses. According to the bank’s press service, the outlet can be found in Mendeleev House at 22 Nemtsov St (3d floor).
This limited-range-of-services branch in Tyumen is the sixth one the bank has opened this year so far. According to the UBRD, these branches represent a symbiosis of an online bank and a brick-and-mortar one in a low-cost format. The new, small-businesses-only outlets can be used to set up a settlement account, apply for a POS terminal for plastic cards, sign up for a range of business development services, and arrange overdraft options. You can set up a business deposit with just three clicks online. Any questions you may have will be settled online or over the phone; additionally, your personal manager can come directly to your office to give the advice you need.
The Head of UBRD Network Development Center Artem Ravich says the small business sector has been recovering, so the bank is trying to build up on this share of the banking services market.
‘We can see the small businesses’ demand for banking services is on the rise, so we must see to it that we catch up with this trend. Tyumen is one of our priority locations where it is our goal to expand further,’ Ravich says.
AnalyticResearchGroup has commented on the bank’s appealing small business commissions and service fees earlier. Based on the group’s research, the UBRD was one of the three banks with the best rates for retail stores; there were twenty-three Russian banks in this rating all in all.
