URBD Sets Up SMEs Branches in Saratov, Kemerovo

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, February 5, 2018. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development (UBRD) keeps expanding its SME-oriented branch network. The bank set up an outlet in Saratov (Samson Business Center at 145a Rabochaya St) at the end of January, as well as another one in Kemerovo (Mayak Plaza at 2b Oktyabrsky Ave).
‘These are ‘mini-versions’ of our full-service branches without a cash desk. We only offer our services to small and medium enterprises there. A business person can open a settlement account, sign an acquiring contract, put some money onto a deposit account, and apply for a corporate card. Moreover, all of these services can get applied for and provided right in the customers’ own offices,’ the bank’s press service says.
According to UBRD Network Development Director Artem Ravich, all banks keep improving the quality of their services in order to retain their existing customers and attract new ones.
‘There is a clear understanding that time is our customers’ most valuable asset, so we work hard to develop our remotely available products. In 50% of cases, our employees go to a customer’s office to open a settlement account for them or set up the acquiring system. We also understand that it is essential that our customers have an actual human communication channel, and our ‘mini-branches’ provide just that. These branches proved highly effective for customer attraction and retention, so the plan is to open thirteen more SME-oriented branches in Central Russia, the Volga Region, Siberia, and the Far East this year,’ Ravich says.
