UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 8, 2017. EVRAZ Holding competed rebuilding its Zelenaya Power Substation in Sheregesh, Tashtagol District, EVRAZ Holding Siberia’s corporate relations department reports.
The new power equipment will ensure stable power supply to the nearby ski resort for the next decade. EVRAZ invested over RUR 40m in the project.
‘The power is needed to keep the chairlifts, the hotels, and the emerging tourist resort’s entire entertainment infrastructure running. The substation’s outdoor switchgear got completely reconstructed, and an additional power transformer unit got installed by EvrazEnergoTrans. This will both make the power supply more reliable and make it possible to connect two more substations (currently under construction and to be finished soon) to the grid,’ the department says.
