ChTPZ Group Holds Children’s Musical Contest
3 November 2017 (14:50)
UrBC, Chelyabinsk, November 3, 2017. ChTPZ Group shareholder Andrei Komarov helped coordinate a children’s musical contest in Chelyabinsk Oblast, the company press service reports.
Now the musical called Look at Me Flying! will open the Group’s 15th Snezhnost Charity Festival. The title was suggested by one of the students at the children’s musical school Valeria Korolkova.
The best title contest opened on the day musical rehearsals began in October. The young actors involved in the musical, children from the Group’s Culture Palace arts and crafts clubs, and children from Foster Home 8 all proposed some of their titles. Valeria Korolkova’s idea (Look at Me Flying!) was supported unanimously.
‘The story presented in the musical is the one of how important it is to pursue your dreams and to be kind and sensitive. The title has associations with childhood, great deeds, and fairy tale-like dreams. The children came up with quite a few titles, we wanted to hear what everyone thinks, but there was only one title that everybody liked,’ says the musical director Ekaterina Vasilyova.
The rehearsal process is now in full swing: the young actors are working on their parts, while the stage team is working on every single detail of the project.
