23 November 2017 (16:50)
UrBC, Chelyabinsk, November 23, 2017. ChTPZ Group is going to hold its 15th Snezhnost Theater Festival on December 8-19, the company press service reports.
This year, plays will be performed in Chelyabinsk, Pervouralsk, Almetyevsk, and — for the first time — Ozersk, Chelyabinsk Oblast.
This charity project takes off at M.I. Glinka Chelyabinsk State Academic Opera & Ballet Theater with a family musical called Look At Me Flying! Young performers from the children’s musical school, directed by Russia’s Honored Performer Boris Kaplun and assisted by professional actors, will act out a musical about childhood, friendship, and dreams. Following this first-night performance, the musical will become part of the theater’s regular productions list.
This year’s Snezhnost will also feature plays by Moscow Human & Puppet Theater, Saint Petersburg Puppet Theater, Ozersk Drama & Comedy Theater, Orenburg Variety Show Theater, Samara Puppet Theater, and Nikolay Zykov’s Puppet Theater. Besides, there will be a number of off-site plays for children with disabilities and specially adjusted plays for special-needs children.
More than 15,000 spectators are expected to enjoy the festival’s plays this year.
