UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 24, 2017. Maxim Populov, who is currently on ChTPZ Group’s Future of White Metallurgy Corporate Training Program, took part in the international Global Skills Challenge 2017 in Newcastle, Australia, the Group’s press service reports.

The corporate program student competed in Industrial Mechanics & Assembly as part of the WorldSkills Russia team; he won the fourth prize. Representatives of seventeen different countries competed in twenty-one categories in this contest altogether.

‘This is the first time ChTPZ Group is competing in Industrial Mechanics & Assembly at the international rounds of the WorldSkills Challenge. The expertise and practical skills Maxim Populov obtained on our training program helped him do well on a sophisticated contest challenge. The experience in taking part in an international WorldSkills contest is bound to come in handy at the global challenge in Abu Dhabi this October,’ says WorldSkills International’s Russia expert and lecturer at ChTPZ Group’s Training Center Rustam Samigullin.
