Russian Copper Company, Aktyubinsk Region Sign Memo

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 4, 2017. Russian Copper Company and Aktyubinsk Region signed a memorandum of cooperation. Aktyubinskaya Copper Company now intends to finance a rehabilitation center in Aktobe (500m tenge all in all) to promote the area’s socioeconomic development, Russian Copper Company’s press service reports.

‘Russian Copper Company invests heavily in CSR projects both in Russia and Kazakhstan, with the goal of facilitating the development of territories where the company operates its assets and of improving the locals’ living standards. The company mostly focuses on social infrastructure development, healthcare, promotion of sports and a healthier lifestyle, and supporting children. One of the company assets, Aktyubinskaya Copper Company, is no exception: a lot of funds get invested in local development. Financing a rehabilitation center is a very important project, and we’ll do our best to make sure the construction is completed as soon as possible,’ says Aktyubinskaya Copper Company’s Director-General Natalya Bondarenko.

Aktyubinskaya Copper Company transfers over 340m tenge (more than $1m) to Aktyubinsk Region’s budget every year.
