Russian Copper Company Makes 2m BDMT of Copper Ore in Kazakhstan

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 29, 2016. Russian Copper Company’s Kazakhstan-based member enterprises came up with a performance report for the first half of 2016, the company press service reports.
Russian Copper Company’s TOO Copper Technology produced 2,122,100 BDMT (bone-dry metric tons) of copper ore and 431,080 BDMT of copper-zinc ore in January-June 2016.
TOO Aktyubinsk Copper Company made 159,619 BDMT of copper concentrate, 33,038,000 kg of copper, 32,469 BDMT of zinc concentrate, and 14,622,000 kg of zinc.
Russian Copper Company has been running plants in Kazakhstan since 2006. Both Copper Technology and Aktyubinsk Copper Company are located in Aktyubinsk Region, Kazakhstan, and the two plants’ produce is crucial to the entire Russian Copper Company’s production processes.
The company’s Kazakhstan assets are integrated efficiently into the Eurasian economic community.
