Ural Airlines Launch New Yekaterinburg-Kaliningrad Flight
30 June 2017 (12:44)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 30, 2017. Ural Airlines are now offering their customers a new flight from Yekaterinburg to Kaliningrad and back, the air carrier’s press service reports.
Starting July 21, 2017, the airline’s passengers can enjoy a direct, no-stopover flight to Kaliningrad every Tuesday and Friday. In addition to the convenience of a direct flight, prices, which start from 6,000 RUR (one way), are another advantage.
‘Kaliningrad is often called Russia’s most European city where medieval Europe rubs shoulders with modern Russia. There are plenty of recreational and sightseeing opportunities there: if you are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city, you can always go to the seaside and the Curonian Spit with its sand dunes; if you prefer more active pastimes, there is the horse-racing championship at Georgenburg Race Course near Chernyakhovsk,’ the press service says.
Russia’s westernmost city also hosts international beach volleyball and football championships every year. Besides, there are plenty of resorts at the Baltic Sea to choose from — Yantarny, Zelenogradsk, Baltiysk, or Svetlogorsk.
