FGC UES Holds Exhibition in Surgut
21 June 2017 (14:02)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 21, 2017. Federal Grid Company United Energy Systems held a special-purpose vehicle exhibition in Surgut for the first time this year. The company celebrated its 15th anniversary with a one-day exhibition featuring off-road vehicles, carjackers, mobile laboratories, and a mobile classroom.
‘The mobile job safety classroom proved the exhibition’s key feature. Visitors could learn about the electric safety rules, try on non-conducting gloves and boots, and try to resuscitate a robot. They could also look at Berkut 8 and Tinger W8, the two wheeled and caterpillar-tracked off-road vehicles. The latter is a caterpillar-tracked snow and swamp-going vehicle whose soil pressure is three times lower than that of a human foot,’ the company press service says.
FGC UES operates 345 vehicles in the Urals altogether.
