Ural Vagon Zavod Presents Wheel Excavator at STT 2017
1 June 2017 (13:01)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 1, 2017. A wheel-mounted, single-scoop, full-shovel excavator EO 33222A made at Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s head plant premiered at the construction vehicles and technologies exhibition STT 2017 in Moscow, the corporation’s press service reports.
The plant’s newest development was featured among the company’s other promising designs at the corporation’s stand.
EO 33222A is fitted with the 135-kilowatt strong YMZ 532 engine and an up-to-date hydro-system which ensures smooth and comfortable operation and allows for performing up to three different actions at once. The excavator also has a modern, informative, and easy-to-read control panel and a ‘second gear’ option for high-precision actions. Additionally, the attachable scoops can vary from 0.45 m3 to 1.05 m3 in size, and you can also have extra equipment such as a hydro-hammer, a pivoted scoop, and a clamshell, attached.
The excavator parts have been made as uniform with those of a caterpillar-tracked excavator as possible. The caterpillar-tracked version was presented at the exhibition as well. In fact, this 23,000-kg caterpillar-tracked excavator EO 41211A was first shown to the public a year ago. The excavator’s key advantage is that it has an original tracked running gear with overhang mounting of lower track wheels to ensure an easy access to all the joints and mechanisms. The running gear can thus self-clean, as well.
Ural Vagon Zavod’s vehicles are fully comparable with their foreign counterparts in terms of production capacity, smart energy and fuel spending, and lifespan.
