14 June 2017 (17:17)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 14, 2017. The telecommunications provider MegaFon now offers 4G network options in nineteen Sverdlovsk Region-based towns, the company press service reports.

The 4G network is now available in 90% of territories of Alapayevsk, Artemovskiy, Ivdel, Kamyshlov, Karpinsk, Kachkanar, Krasnoturyinsk, Kransnouralsk, Krasnoufimsk, Kushva, Nevyansk, Nizhnyaya Salda, Nizhnyaya Tura, Novaya Lyalya, Severouralsk, Tarda, Turinsk, Verkhniy Tagil and Volchansk. There are currently over sixty base LTE stations in the area altogether.

The network makes it possible to use the Internet connection both outside and at one’s home, at a cafe, and at an office, all thanks to a stronger signal within the frequency range.

‘A high-speed Internet connection in one’s smartphone or a tablet computer opens up plenty of opportunities: it only takes a couple of seconds to pay one’s housing bills, book tickets, make a money order, check for traffic jams, or download a cartoon for the children to watch while on the road. All this is available anywhere, anytime: your mobile helper is always there with you,’ says MegaFon Sverdlovsk Region’s Infrastructure Director Lyudmila Pavlova.
