UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 5, 2016. Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s head plant in Nizhniy Tagil completed the capital repairs of its day-patient facility at the plant’s medical unit, the company press service reports.

The solemn opening ceremony took place a few days previously, with the plant’s Executive Director Vladimir Roschupkin cutting the symbolic red ribbon. According to Roschupkin, the day patient unit now has everything necessary to ensure the patients’ comfortable stay. The repairs were funded by Ural Vagon Zavod.

‘It took us six months to get ten patient wards and a treatment room repaired. A new room layout was introduced in order to install a a new ventilation system and wiring, and up-to-date medically suitable panels were used for wall finish. Also, new sanitary fixtures were put in, along with new furniture made at Volchansk Mechanical Plant (Ural Vagon Zavod’s subsidiary). The day patient unit now meets all the sanitary and epidemiological requirements there are,’ the company press service says.
