EVRAZ Competes in WorldSkills Hi Tech

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 18, 2016. Eight of EVRAZ Holding’s employees are going to take part in the WorldSkills Hi Tech championship in Yekaterinburg on October 30-November 3, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s press office reports.

The contestants come from the holding’s four member enterprises: West Siberian Integrated Metallurgical Works (ZSMK), Evrazruda, Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Works (NTMK), and Kachkanar Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise (KGOK). They will compete in Mechatronics, Welding, Wiring, and Industrial Automation.

EVRAZ ZSMK’s Dmitri Fitz and Maxim Nutrikhin are taking part in the championship for the second time this year. They are to compete in Mechatronics as a team. EVRAZ NTMK’s electrical/gas welder Dmitri Koltykov is competing in Welding for the third time, Evrazruda’s welder Alexei Shchitov is competing for the second time.

Stepan Napolskikh from Nizhniy Tagil and ZSMK’s Evgeny Tyutyunnik are competing in Wiring for the first time. Evgeny Ilyin from EVRAZ KGOK is competing in Industrial Automation for the second time: he was just a few points short of winning last year. NTMK’s Alexander Irikov is also competing in the Industrial Automation category.
