Ural Vagon Zavod Hosts Kids’ Quest

21 September 2016 (13:16)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 21, 2016. Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s youth club and PR & GR Department coordinated a special pedestrian quest for teenagers from Nizhniy Tagil schools, the company’s social partners. The quest was part of a celebration program for a special date: the plant was founded eighty years ago this month, the company press service explains.

Seven four-people teams from six local schools competed in the quest. The teens had to go through ten different quest stages on sites located on the plant’s premises, for example, at the Personnel Training Center or next to the life-size sample of a military tank in front of the plant entrance. The exact location of the site could be identified by solving a puzzle.

One such puzzle, for example, asked the contestants to find the profile of a WWII marshal next to a museum door. This meant the team had to run to a memorial plaque in front of the plant entrance, where volunteers would present them with a challenge. The school students proved very clever, quick, sportive, and team-spirited. They said the puzzles were not too hard and the challenges were exciting.

Every team was given fridge magnets and a book entitled Ural Vagon Zavod’s Legends. The winners were presented with things from UVZSHOP.RU, the company souvenir and branded goods shop.
