Ural Vagon Zavod Holds Museum Family Night in Nizhniy Tagil

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 7, 2016. A special event called Museum Family Night will be coordinated by Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation in Nizhniy Tagil on September 9 in celebration of the plant’s 80th anniversary. All residents of and visitors to the city are invited to come either alone or with their families, the company press service reports.

There will be something to interest people of all ages, from pre-schoolers to retirees. The event will be held in several venues from 6 to 10 PM.

For one, a historic re-enactment for the first celebration of Tankman’s Day at Ural Vagon Zavod on September 8, 1946 can be seen in the square in front of the plant’s entrance. At 6:30 PM, a historic family quest will begin. History and armored vehicle museums will be showing unique documentaries City N, Plant, Walks Along Vagonka, and others. Special games will be organized for children, with prizes and presents for the most active players.

The plant’s history museum also has something special to offer: the robots Gosha and Magnitogosha will greet and welcome all visitors to the place. There will be no guided tours on this day, but museum workers in every exhibition hall will answer all of your questions. They say queries are often made about the museum visitors’ family members who worked at the plant at some point.
