UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 19, 2016. The telecommunications provider MegaFon’s official online store welcomes its customers to place preorders for Apple’s new products, iPhone 7 and and iPhone 7 Plus, the company press service reports.
iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were released on September 7; the smartphones have a fully upgraded camera, stereo dynamics, the new A10 Fusion processor that speeds them up impressively, and are dust- and waterproof.
‘As the Russian mobile Internet market leader, we are happy to see that Apple’s new products support high-speed connection. Over 12m people living in the Greater Urals can enjoy MegaFon’s 4G, high-speed Internet connection now. Besides, we offer up to 300 Mb/sec speed of data transfer in many Russian cities thanks to LTE-Advanced. These high-speed mobile connection options will allow the new phone owner to fully enjoy every feature and function their smartphone has to offer,’ says MegaFon Ural’s Infrastructure Development Director Anton Scherbakov.
The high speed of Internet connection is achieved through uniting carrier frequencies from various sections of the frequency spectrum. Both Apple iPhone 7 and Apple iPhone 7 Plus can aggregate up to three carrier bands, which means they should be able to perform in the Russian LTE range at the above-mentioned speed. MegaFon subscribers will be able to enjoy this speed as soon as both companies’ engineers have completed network testing and equipment setup.
