UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 13, 2016. ChTPZ Group’s Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ) is going to supply over 2,000,000 kg of pipes to Podolski Machine-Building Plant in Kaliningrad Region before the end of October, the company press service reports.
The pipes are meant for making equipment to be used at two emerging power stations, Primorskaya and Pregolskaya.
The plant is to supply to customer a set of 32mm to 219mm electric-welded and boiler pipes (layer thickness 4mm to 36mm, length p to 16.04m). It was the customer’s proviso that all the pipes should undergo Introtest’s unique multi-channel flaw detector nondestructive ultrasonic check. Also, the long-length tubes from the set get transported on special railway platforms.
‘Power machine-building enterprises are our key customers, and our metallurgical plants have all the expertise and equipment necessary to make the pipes these customers need; they can fulfill any order, no matter how complicated, in full and in time,’ says CFO ChTPZ Group Denis Prikhodko.
