UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 1, 2016. ChTPZ Group supplied some 5,000,000 kg of pipes to Polish customers in the three quarters of 2016. The pipes will be used for building coal mines, and a portion will be sold to local end users, the Group’s press service reports.

The pipe manufacturer mainly supplies its Polish customers with weldless, hot-rolled pipes (diameter: 57-219mm; layer thickness: 4-16mm) and cold-deformed pipes (diameter: 10-89mm; layer thickness: 1-4mm).

ChTPZ Group’s Polish exports make up 10% of all the Russian producers’ pipe shipments onto Poland’s market. The goods are made in accordance with the European EN standards and in compliance with the Pressure Equipment Directive and the DNV GL regulations. The produce gets certified and controlled at every production stage; there are also extra coating, stamping, and packaging requirements.

‘Poland is an important market for the Group’s pipe-making enterprises. The country’s companies are among our key European customers who are interested in getting new pipe varieties from our Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant,’ says ChTPZ Group’s Commercial Director Denis Prikhodko.
