UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 15, 2016. The share of Sverdlovsk Region-based loss-making businesses rose from 32% to 35% of all companies in the area in January-May 2016 against the start of the year, Rosstat research findings indicate.

In Ural Federal District on average, the figure rose from 31% to 35%. Things look their bleakest in Kurgan Region and Chelyabinsk Region, where the figures went up from 35% to 44% and from 30% to 38%, respectively.
