Sverdlovsk Region: Businesses’ Turnover Up 4.3% in January-September

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 17, 2019. Sverdlovsk Region-based businesses’ turnover amounted to RUB 4,290,169,000,000 in January-September 2019, which exceeded the figures for one year earlier by 4.3%, Sverdlovskstat reports.
The turnover of businesses in the agricultural sector, forestry, and hunting and fishing industries rose by 7% and amounted to RUB 36.834bn in January-September; that of businesses in the oil and gas sector rose by 33.2% and amounted to RUB 72.877bn; that of businesses in the processing industry rose by 4.9% and amounted to RUB 1,512,952,000,000; that of businesses involved in the production and distribution of electric power, natural gas, and steam, and of companies in the air conditioning industry rose by 8.4% and amounted to RUB 290.42bn.
The turnover of companies in the water supply/sewage sector, waste disposal and recycling sector, and contamination management sector rose by 30.9% and amounted to RUB 50.171bn; that of companies in the construction sector dropped by 0.9% and amounted to RUB 122.519bn; and that of companies in the wholesale trade and car/motorcycle repair sector rose by 0.3% and amounted to RUB 1,568,077,000,000.
