UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 7, 2016. Workers of ChTPZ Group’s Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (ChTPZ) and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant are going to celebrate Metallurgist’s Day on July 15-16, the company press service reports.

The two plants are going to award their best employees with certificates and thank-you letters from the company and the industry ministries.

‘Special shows and concerts have also been prepared for the plants’ long-service employees at our Culture Palaces’ the press service says.

Chelyabinsk and Pervouralsk will both host sports competition and exhibition games between the plants’ management and young workers. Join the Light Side, a special award ceremony and show for the companies’ best workers and winners of the Workers’ Dynasty Contest, is going to become the most spectacular feature of the day. The Urals’ best singers and dancers will perform for the spectators, as will the rock band Moralny Kodex, with a fireworks show at the end of the day.

This year’s theme, Join the Light Side, was inspired by the Star Warsmovie where the jedi knights are fighting their own dark side so that the universe’s light side can win.
