URBD Proves Best Taxpayer

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 9, 2016. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development (UBRD) was recently awarded as Taxpayer of The Year 2015, the bank’s press service reports.
The special certificate was a recognition of the bank’s payments to Yekaterinburg budget and contribution to social projects and was given out by head of the city council Alexander Yakob.
The UBRD paid over 2bn RUR in taxes to all sorts of budget and non-budget funds last year, which was 8% more than in 2014. Some 675m RUR were directed to the city treasury and Sverdlovsk Region’s budget (up 37% on a year earlier).
The bank also spent 76.4m RUR on charity projects in the cities and towns where the UBRD operates, including 16m RUR donated to Yekaterinburg-centered projects.
