Sverdlovsk Region: Companies Can’t Buy Machines Due to Sanctions
26 May 2016 (09:36)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 26, 2016. A number of Sverdlovsk Region-based enterprises still haven’t been able to find suppliers of spare parts they need because of the sanctions imposed on the country by the West, President of Ural Chamber of Commerce & Industry Andrei Besedin said at a press conference in Yekaterinburg today.
According to Besedin, the companies’ European suppliers are not meeting the terms of the contracts they signed with the Ural businesses earlier. Some of the spare parts could, however, be purchased locally.
‘Some of the companies still need to find electronic/automation equipment,’ Besedin said. He couldn’t indicate the exact number of these enterprises, however.
