Nizhniy Tagil: EVRAZ Relay Race Gathers 1,000 Runners

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 25, 2016. EVRAZ Holding held its second annual company relay race in Nizhniy Tagil last Sunday, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s PR Department reports.
Around four thousand people from Yekaterinburg, Nizhniy Tagil, Kachkanar, and other Sverdlovsk Region cities and towns took part in the sports event. Around a thousand runners joined in the five-kilometer relay race, while the children’s race (one kilometer long) attracted over 250 very young sportsmen and women.
The race went along Nizhniy Tagil’s primary streets, with every runner getting a personal identification number for automatic score calculation. The youngest sports players were six years old, the oldest one was seventy-nine.
