ChTPZ Group Goes to WorldSkills Russia Opening Ceremony

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 25, 2016. Students on ChTPZ Group’s Future of White Metallurgy corporate training program participated in the opening ceremony of the 4th WorldSkills Russia Championship, the company press service reports.
Russia’s Vice Premier Olga Golodets, Governor of Moscow Region Andrei Vorobiev, and President of WorldSkills International Simon Bartley were also present at the ceremony as guests of honor.
’This is in many ways due to Russian contestants’ involvement in WorldSkills championship over the last four years that we see an increase in the prestige of blue-collar jobs in this country. A nation-wide championship, regardless of how well or badly the participants perform, is bound to serve as a good springboard for the young career-starters,’ Olga Golodets said.
ChTPZ students will compete in five different categories: Mechatronics, NC Turning, NC Milling, Industrial Automation, and Mobile Robotics.
