ChTPZ Group’s Net Profit at 6.041bn RUR in 2015

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 19, 2016. Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant/ChTPZ carried its annual IAS-based financial report for 2015, the company press service reports.

The company’s revenues rose by 16% compared with the year 2014 and reached148.367bn RUR; its gross profits went up by 18%, its EBITDA by 27% (up to 28.901bn RUR), its EBITDA margin by 2% (up to 19.5%).

’The Russian pipe manufacturers’ performance got affected by the unstable global economy, high metal prices, and the foreign currency market’s great volatility last year. However, as the plant started selling more high-profit-margin goods than before, increased its export volume, produced more of its own half-finished goods, and mastered the production of new steels, the Group’s revenues actually increased compared with the year earlier and profits stood at 6.041bn RUR against 1.216bn RUR in 2014 (out of which exchange rate losses came to 832.901m RUR against 3.677bn RUR in 2014). The Group’s cash generation flow came to 12.023bn RUR (compared with 12.839bn RUR in 2014),’ the report states.
