Ural Vagon Zavod’s Executive Becomes Director of the Year

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 18, 2016. Head of Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s Rubtsovsky subsidiary Sergei Kurkin won in the annual Director of the Year 2015/Altai Territory Contest in the Industrial Production category, the corporation’s press service reports.
‘Under the terms of the contest, a successful manager is the one who ensures their enterprise’s sustainable development and economic and social growth and thus contributes to the development of the area and the country on the whole. Ural Vagon Zavod’s Rubtsovsky subsidiary is currently one of Altai Territory’s most stable businesses contributing to the area’s socioeconomic development,’ the press service says.
The contest was established in 2003 with the support of Altai Territory Government, Altai Territory Industrialists’ Union, Altai Territory Agribusinesses’ Union, and Altai Banking Union. Altai Entrepreneurs’ Union and Altai Territory Builders and Investors’ Union joined the Board in 2009 and 2011, respectively.
