UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 4, 2016. Electromachine (a member enterprise of Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation) declassified an order on the creation of new production facilities issued by the USSR Industry Minister P. Finogenov on June 20, 1985.

The company press service explains this document has some historic value and will be directed to Chelyabinsk Region State Archive.

The order touches upon the foundation of Electromachine:

‘Given Chelyabinsk Electromachine Plant, SKB Rotor, and SKB Turbine’s instrumentality in the production and maintenance of electrical equipment, fire- and tank-control systems, infantry combat vehicles, and self-propelled artillery guns, my order is

1) To set up Electromachine, an enterprise comprising Chelyabinsk Electromachine Plant as its head plant in charge of making special-purpose electrical equipment for armored vehicles, SKB Rotor in charge of designing electrical equipment for armored vehicles, and SKB Turbina in charge of design and production of power units, electro-pneumatic valves, and pumps;

2) To make sure SKB Rotor and SKB Turbine can remain independent legal entities.’
