Yekaterinburg among Russia’s Top 10 Cities

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 11, 2015. Yekaterinburg came 6th in the rating of one hundred Russian cities with population over 175,000 people; the rating was carried by Urbanica, an urban planning institute, Expert-Ural reports.
Surgut was No.1 on the list, followed by Nizhnevartovsk and Tyumen.
The rating was based on such criteria as availability of housing, traffic intensity, up-to-date consumer spending patterns, housing prices, locals’ buying capacity, the scale of housing bills, and crime rate.
