Delegates from Russian Industry & Trade Ministry come to Ural Vagon Zavod

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 5, 2015. A group of delegates from Russia’s Industry & Trade Ministry and Sverdlovsk Region’s Industry & Trade Ministry came to Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s head plant in Nizhniy Tagil.
According to the corporation’s press service, the head of the national ministry’s Ural division Alexander Tarasov and his deputy Viktor Kilin met Ural Vagon Zavod’s Executive Director Vladimir Roshchupkin. The officials talked about the industry’s current economic problems and the performance of Russia’s largest machine-building companies.
Ural Vagon Zavod is the first location out of a number of machine-building enterprises the delegates are planning on visiting. The officials had a guided tour of the plant’s railcar assembly and mechanical assembly departments and paid a visit to the company Armored Vehicles Museum.
The tour of the enterprises is expected to result in a series of analytic reports with proposals on how to ensure their unfailing performance and with an action plan on how to cope with the possible difficulties in the industrial sector. Consolidated proposals will be directed to Sverdlovsk Region Government.
