UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 18, 2015. Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) is going to deliver its most powerful diesel-electric bulldozer, DET 400, to Pervouralsk Silica Plant, the corporation’s press service reports.

‘The customer plant is one year older than Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant and has been producing firebricks needed for repair and maintenance of smelting ovens since 1932. The plant has its own clay quarry where a few of our bulldozers are already in use. The customer has plenty of experience of our vehicles, which is why they chose Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant’s produce again to complement their fleet,’ the press service says.

The manufacturer’s Sales Director Artem Yezhkov says the plant was to produce the bulldozer in the last quarter of the year, but the order was actually fulfilled ahead of schedule.

‘Our tractor-making enterprises need a lot of silica products to ensure oven performance in their casting departments. Our Pervouralsk partners shipped some to Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant to cover part of the bulldozer’s cost. The final payments will be settled upon delivery,’ the press service says.
