UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 15, 2015. Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) recently shipped one of its B10M bulldozers to Mongolia, the company press service reports.

‘The machine was sent across the entire country to Solovyevsk Station by rail; from there on, the platform with a tractor on it will be taken care of by the Mongolian railway workers. The tractor is to reach the easternmost part of the country, close to China and Chita Region,’ the press service says.

Head of the plant’s export service Vladimir Klein says their Mongolian dealer Zhargal Saikhan, director of PromTechService, won the delivery tender. The order for the bulldozer was placed by Vostochnaya Energosystema, electric power supplier for Mongolia’s three eastern constituencies.

B10M will be used at a power station’s coal warehouse. The customer asked for a make with mechanical transmission and diesel engine D180. The plant’s dealer has delivered Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant’s bulldozers to Mongolian customer in the past, so the plant’s machines are now used at three power stations in Ulan Bator.

Saikhan says fierce competition with Chinese companies in the last few years has driven some major Russian machine-builders off the market, but Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant is still going strong.
