UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 15, 2015. Nearly 50,000 people came to the International Russia Arms Expo 2015 Exhibition in Nizhniy Tagil as visitors and exponents, Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s Deputy DG Alexei Zharich said at a press conference.

‘The event was definitely a success, with an unprecedented number of delegations from sixty-five different countries. A military and technological cooperation pavilion was put up specially for these; besides, visitors could take guided tours of our defense enterprises in addition to just coming to the exhibition. They were offered a busy and informative business agenda as well as a show presenting the ways in which different kinds of military vehicles operate together,’ Zharich said.

According to Zharich, the show took 9,000 ammunition units, 500 people, and 62 units of terrestrial and airborne military vehicles to complete.

Visitor traffic was at its highest on the last day of the exhibition, with 17,200 people coming in.
