Uralvagonzavod Corporation presents rolling stock at EXPO 1520

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 4, 2015. Uralvagonzavod Corporation presented its innovative rolling stock at the 5th International EXPO 1520 Railway Exhibition; the event is hosted by Experimental Ring in Shcherbinka, Moscow Region.

The corporation’s press service reports visitors to the exhibition could see the 18-555 and 18-194 trucks, the 94 m3 12-196-02 gondola car, and the 15-5157-04 tank car.

A multifunctional vehicle TMV2, an alternative to a shunter, was also presented in Shcherbinka, as was a new container car with body made of composite materials. This innovative product is meant for transportation of hazardous cargo, including orthophosphoric and hydrochloric acids, by car, sea, or railways.

The EXPO 1520 Exhibition in Shcherbinka is, in fact, the first large-scale public event to feature Oleg Belozerov as the new head of Russian Railways. Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s Director-General Oleg Sienko had a chance to demonstrate the company’s new produce to a group of officials, including Belozerov, Russian Deputy Transport Minister Alexei Tsydenov, and Deputy Industry & Trade Minister Alexander Morozov.
