Sinara Transport Machines to present new locos at EXPO 1520

September 11, 2013. Sinara-Transport Machines (STM, a member of Sinara Group) is going to join the 4th International Railways Vehicles & Technologies Show EXPO 1520; the event will be held at the experimental range of VNIIZhT in Shcherbinka, Moscow Region, on September 11-14, 2013, Sinara Group’s press service reports.
The holding is going to display its new locomotives: the freight diesel TE8, the two-diesel TEM14, and the energy-efficient TEM9N with the smart hybrid asynchronous drive. Visitors to the fair will also be able to get acquainted with the technical potential of the gas turbine locomotive GT1h that was made by Sinara Transport Machines by order of Russian Railways. All the locos are produced at the facility in Lyudinovsky Locomotive Plant (a member of STM).
STM’s pavilion 2 will feature the 1:50 models of such locos as TEM9, TEM7A, TEM14, TEM9N, and TE8. The dynamic EXPO 1520 parade of modern and promising railway vehicles coordinated by Russian Railways will be joined by the TEM14 and TEM9N locos. The TE8 loco will be displayed at an open air range in Sector 74/2. The GT1h 002 gas turbine loco will be installed in Sector 1/3. Besides, tours of the vehicles will be offered to all those willing to come inside the pit, find out more about the machines’ technical parameters and the specifics of joints and components of the new vehicles. STM representatives will also be answering all the questions visitors to the fair and participants of the event might have.
