UBRD coordinates syndicated loan for Belarusbank

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 14, 2015. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development was the primary coordinator of a syndicated loan for Belarusbank, the bank’s press service reports.
Alfa-Bank acted as the mandated lead arranger and agent bank for the loan; the contract was signed on July 10, 2015.
There are seventeen lending institutions involved in the €203m loan altogether: the UBRD, Alfa-Bank, Novikombank, Promsvyazbank,Transkapitalbank, Finservis, Globex, Uralsib, Gazprombank, Sviaz-Bank, Asian-Pacific Bank, Intesa, Zenit, Kazkommertsbank, Absolut, and Nefteprombank. The loan period comes to six months.
The UBRD has been involved in syndicated loans both as the borrowing party and the creditor before. The bank attracted a 305m-ruble and $9m syndicated loan in 2007 and a $30m loan in 2014. In June 2015, the bank co-arranged a $30m and €4m syndicated loan for Alfa-Bank.
