UBRD coordinates syndicated loan for Alfa-Bank

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 9, 2015. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development (UBRD) co-organized a syndicated loan for Alfa-Bank in Byelorussia, the bank’s press service reports.
Alfa-Bank acted as the loan’s primary coordinator. The contract was signed on June 29, 2015 and the first tranche ($2.5m) went through on July 6. Another $2.5m tranche is expected in two weeks’ time.
The $30m and €4m syndicated loan involves eight different banks, including the UBRD, Alfa-Bank, NOVIKOMBANK, Bank Zenit, Svyaz-Bank, Bank Finservis, Baltikums Bank AS, and Asian-Pacific Bank. The loan period was set at six months and could be renewed for another half a year if necessary.
