ChTPZ Group ships pipes to company in Far East
5 June 2015 (12:12)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 5, 2015. ChTPZ Group completed the year’s order from DGK, a power supplier located in the Far East, within the first half of 2015. The full set came to 3,600,000 kg of pipes, the Group’s press service reports.
Under the terms of the contract, the Group’s Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant had to deliver to the Far East some weldless pipes (diameter of 16mm to 426mm, wall width 2mm to 20mm) and arc-welded pipes (diameter 530mm to 1,220mm, wall width 8mm to 14 mm).
‘The complexity of the task was in that we had to process a large shipment consisting of a wide range of different pipe types within a short period of time, before the seasonal jobs on the repair and expansion of heat supply network began. Our produce is now used within heat lines of major Far Eastern cities such as Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, and Blagoveshchensk, and their satellites,’ the press service says.
ChTPZ Group and DGK have been partners for many years now. Every year, the metallurgical company supplies a large set of pipe varieties to the energy company in time for the maintenance season.
