ChTPZ Group celebrates Victory Day

May 12, 2015. Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant, ChTPZ Group’s two pipe-manufacturing enterprises, invite seventy-five war veterans and 1,300 home front workers to take part in the their Victory Day celebrations, the Group’s press service reports.
‘Our veterans are a striking example of unbelievable courage, strong spirit, and selflessness. Both during and after the war they proved through their daily efforts that our metallurgists can be relied on,’ says ChTPZ shareholder and BOD Chairman Alexander Fedorov.
A session at the Defenders of the Fatherland Memorial, a concert at ChTPZ Palace of Culture, and an open-air brass band performance in combination with refreshments off the kitchen truck are scheduled for May 8.
On May 9, Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant employees will take part in a special track-and-field relay race. As for Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant, a dance play Tomorrow There Came War, a session at the Eternal Fire Memorial, and an open air concert next to the Palace of Culture are to take place there.
