February 4, 2015. MegaFon recently expanded the range of Login smartphones it offers to customers. On February 1, the mobile carrier started selling MegaFon Login+, a phablet that combines the best properties of a smartphone and a tablet computer. The new gadget is available for the price of 4,990 RUR – the best price in the phablet category, the company’s press service reports.
The best thing about the new phablet is the large, 5.5” screen (quite suitable for Internet surfing, watching videos, and reading e-books). Unlike a tablet computer, this device is rather compact (15.5x7.5 cm), which means it will fit comfortably in a pocket or a lady’s handbag.
MegaFon Login+ uses 4.4 KitKat, an up-to-date version of Android™ and has a quad-core processor (clock frequency: 1.3 gigacycle), 4 gigabytes worth of internal memory, and 1-gigabyte operating system. The new gadget can also boast two cameras: the primary 5-megapixel one with auto focus and the frontal 0.3-megapixel one for good quality shots and video calls. The phablet supports wireless and Bluetooth networks as well as 2G and 3G ones.
