‘Given our customers’ needs, we expanded the range of mobile phones available for purchase by five times. Very inexpensive smartphones and tablet computers by our own brand, MegaFon Login 2, are the best selling products right now,’ says director of MegaFon Retail’s Ural subsidiary Yegor Zarechnev.

‘MegaFon recently opened new outlets in Perm, Chelyabinsk, Kirov, Surgut, Nizhnevartovsk, Tyumen, and Noyabrsk. The company now runs 260 retail outlets, with over 25m visitors a year, which is actually more than the population of Australia,’ the company says.

Based on the store assistants’ estimates, customers are mostly interested in the ISP options, commission-free payment of Internet and phone bills, and purchase of modern gadgets that offer Internet access.
